With assistance form the city of Athens, Dionysia will be recycling  thousands of empty bottles of wine as well as all left-over wine. More than 7.000 empty bottles will be collected in the city’s special blue containers and sent for recycling, while the thousands of liters of wine that will not be swallowed, will be treated by Ecoplan, a Greek company specializing in liquid waste management (hopefully not a la Sideways!). This is the first time a wine exhibition in Greece is making special arrangements for the disposal of its left-over wine.
